  • Doing really good so far, knowing I'll have to weigh in really keeps me in check, though I did allow myself a few treats in between this game and the last (after being super strict since the start of the April one). Almost 40lbs down since April!

  • Dinner the past two nights has been taco salad! My favorite condiments i use are taco bell mild/hot sauce because theyre 0 calories & have way less sodium than most sauces I've tried & they are tasty! Taco bell was always my favorite fast food, so I love to recreate healthier versions at home! I used lean ground beef, lots of lettuce, shredded cheese, onion, light sour cream, salsa and mild sauce. Whats your favorite meal to make healthier?

Don't fall into the "I'll start again tomorrow" mindset when it comes to your diet.

How many times have you been dieting, gone over your calories or eaten something you thought you were "not supposed to eat" and then said "Well, I've already messed it up, may as well keep going, I'll start again tomorrow" and then continued to eat more than planned?

IF you go over your calories or eat something you were not planning on eating give yourself grace and continue on your plan the rest of the day.

How does this work?
Say you eat 2 oreos that you didn't plan for, don't continue to eat the whole sleeve.
You ate those two oreos, now what?
1. Know you are human and don't beat yourself up.
2. Put the rest away.
3. Get back on track TODAY, not tomorrow.

It may not be a mindset you are used to, but YOU are in control, you got this!

I definitely can relate. I have had about 20lbs weight lose so far, and plattoed a bit lately, but I am making some adjustments..
This long game of weight lose is quite a journey and there's gonna be ups and downs for sure.
I try to practice patience.. plus I have four kids , I have to be patient, or else I'll explode. Deep breaths and lots of grace .
