For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

Not a single pound down. However this dietbet put me back on track with my workout goals. I hadn't run since November and now I'm back to running regularly and have had some new PR runs. I've started lifting weights on my no run days and I'm feeling strong. Even had to go buy a new set of weights that were heavier to keep up the burn! I have never had no scale movement with this much routine before. I'm not discouraged though. I can feel the changes. I believe the number on the scale is highly impacted by muscle gain and menstruation greeting me this week. I see no chance in winning this bet, but I'm happy I signed up to get me back on track with my fitness <3

Emily, thank you for sharing this! Gaining muscle will offset loss on the scale, but it's sooooo worth it! You are building fat-burning machines by lifting! That is so awesome! You will definitely see changes as your body sheds fat and builds muscle tissue! I'm so excited for you! Lifting is one of the best things you can do for your body!
