How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Recently added fitness to my regime- joined a gym, and have been going regularly... but the scale is moving up ?

You might be putting on muscle as you’re working out. Muscle mass is more dense and weighs more than your typical fat mass (muscle is more compact while fat is bulkier). I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

Look for the NSVs to keep yourself motivated. Maintain your water intake, and try to lift heavy (as heavy as you can). You should be good. Good luck!

Brandy

When you lift weights, your body will retain water for a bit as well.
