How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Spent the last two days in Florida for a conference. I didn't track and I didn't exercise but I did get LOTS of steps in. Food wasn't the greatest but it was better than what past habits led me to do.

I also drank a lot of water.

I didn't weigh myself and today, I'm going to continue my regularly scheduled programming. I'm also going to focus on clean eating and drinking water so I can detox any water weight I'm holding on to. I'll know tomorrow morning when I weigh in how I really did.

That's probably my greatest challenge in this journey. I travel a lot and struggle staying in a healthier mindset and definitely struggle with self sabotage. I welcome any advice and tips!

My best slice of advice would be to figure out why you want to be healthier. That’s what helps me make better choices. Food is a conscious decision, every time you’re feeding yourself, remembering that it’s to nourish your body. We make tend to make bad decisions when we’re eating for enjoyment. Yes we should enjoy what we’re eating, but sometimes we let that get out of control. Just remember why you’re wanting to take better care of your vessel.
