    Let's talk about some true superstars on our plate: veggies and fruits! These colorful heroes are absolutely packed with goodness – we're talking fiber to keep you full, essential nutrients for energy, and all that fantastic flavor, usually with low calories. Think of them as your secret weapon for feeling amazing and rocking your health goals!

    Aim to fill half your plate with colorful fruits and vegetables at every single meal. I started doing this last year and was excited by the results! Because they add so much volume without many calories, you get so much food! It makes seconds more fun! :D I also started to find ways to have fruit for dessert. It didn’t make sense to my dessert-loving mind because dessert is chocolate, but finding creative ways to make fruit feel like dessert was fun! My favorite is strawberries and blueberries over fat-free cottage cheese or Greek yogurt, sometimes with a drizzle of sugar-free maple syrup and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts. I am finding warm, fruit-based desserts that aren’t overly sweet and sugary harder to find. Please share ideas if you have them!

  • Made a veggie bread, out of zucchini, carrots and cheddar. Turned into a nice chicken avacado sandwich. Not pretty but tasted great
