  • Yesterday I was feeling accomplished, today not so much. This summer, I am the heaviest I have been since I started running 4 years ago...it makes a difference. I battled Breast cancer in 2024 and am on maintenance medication now...it makes a difference. I have not been as good about working out until now...it makes a difference. I am eating the right kinds of food, but too much of them...it makes a difference. I am teaching two grade levels with a new curriculum, attending grad school, and coaching two sports...it makes a difference. All of our choices and circumstances make a difference. As I head towards my 50th birthday, I plan to focus on changing the ones I can, such as my diet and exercise, and work WITH the other ones. It WILL make a difference!
