If I can afford it, I play more than one. I aslo do Healthy Wage and Way Better. But this one is going ok. I recently had a woosh so that was nice.

This is the first one I’ve done - I’m considering doing the 6month with multiple 4 weeks between to ensure I stay on track but not sure how good an idea this is.

Find the right water! People try to say water tastes the same but if I had to drink only the tap water at my dad’s house I would be chronically dehydrated, or even more overweight from drinking juice all the time instead. I like the brita brand of filters and lots of ice.

I'm curious about what you all do for exercise. Right now, I do aerobics at home 6 days and lift weights/strength train every other day. My goal is to be able to run a 5k next year...if my knees are willing.

I do yoga, and I walk daily. I am also playing some StepBet games simultaneously. They help me maintain my step goals.
Now we're having monsoon here in my city. Hence, I do yoga indoors or some freehand exercises, pilates, etc. Before monsoon, I used to go swimming regularly.

Nothing yet. I am working on my eating habits for now. With work and the kids, I dont really have time to work out. It is my goal to make time and start some type of workout.

  • It can be daunting looking at how much you have to lose (in my case 150 lbs) and then trying to build muscle which is such a SLOW process. BUT consistency is a big key! This quote always reminds me that time moves fast and if I'd stayed the course a year ago who knows where I could've been today. Either way remember to thank yourself for treating your body right yesterday, last week, or this morning.

Women’s hormones fluctuate so much, we can gain and lose 10lbs depending on which time of the month! Weigh yourself weekly if you want to see the trend but don’t actually ‘count’ it as your weight- your monthly weigh is is the most accurate.

Change something. Add water, lower calories, increase exercise. Change one thing (or two) and track what happens.

I’m going thru something similar. I was losing at a decent rate and now I haven’t lost a thing in two weeks. I still have a few pounds to lose to make my goal and I’m starting to worry.

  • Yesterday I was feeling accomplished, today not so much. This summer, I am the heaviest I have been since I started running 4 years ago...it makes a difference. I battled Breast cancer in 2024 and am on maintenance medication now...it makes a difference. I have not been as good about working out until now...it makes a difference. I am eating the right kinds of food, but too much of them...it makes a difference. I am teaching two grade levels with a new curriculum, attending grad school, and coaching two sports...it makes a difference. All of our choices and circumstances make a difference. As I head towards my 50th birthday, I plan to focus on changing the ones I can, such as my diet and exercise, and work WITH the other ones. It WILL make a difference!
