Hi Everyone,
This is my second game, I didn't quite succeed the first time around but I am feeling motivated to do well this time! I'm starting perimenopause and in the last couple of years i gained weight fast. With this weight gain I have started to experience joint pains, systemic inflammation and overall lack of vitality. Health has always been a priority of mine. I eat, for the most part, very healthy and have always been very physically active without necessarily doing a scheduled "workout". My biggest issue is stress and 12 years of very interrupted sleep. (3 kids, 1 neurodiverse who doesn't love to sleep!!) now my hormones are shifting and my metabolism is slowing down!
I have been following an inspirational person on social media who is on a weight loss journey and is using the social media to keep himself accountable. I don't personally like to post on social media so I went seeking another method to keep me motivated. I am pretty competitive, so I searched for an app that I could place a bet on myself, and here I am!
