Hey guys! Just checking in. Not super happy about my weigh in this week but I know its not real weight. Im up about 1/2 a pound from last week but its just water retention from eating some less ideal meals over the weekend. My body is releasing it as I was up what appeared to be like 4 lbs. Its hard to not get stuck on that number though. But I know I'm still in a calorie deficit and can't have possibly put on that much in a week. But some foods just make me bloat and retain. Working on resetting and getting enough water and exercise this week. I know next week's weigh in will be better. I'm still on track and not letting that number deter me. We got this!

    Father's Day weekend is almost here, and honestly? Dads have been onto something all along.

I have been going slow and steady which has been good but I am traveling to go to a World Cup game this week and struggling with how can I stay on track vs not letting anything stop me from getting the full once in a lifetime experience. Because of timing, I will most likely have to eat festival or stadium food and may not have an opportunity to workout as I have been. Lots of time sitting that I have been trying to avoid with the exception of my workday. Any suggestions welcome!

HOW FUN! My advice isn't the best but I say enjoy it! Sweat out the extra calories? I'm sure the games are hot lol. Seriously though, water, water, and more water! And do your best to walk and see some sights.

    Is anyone else’s algorithm full of HYROX stuff? Still not entirely sure what it’s all about. Anyways, friendly reminder that workouts don't have to be intense to be effective.

    If you're feeling tired, busy, sore, or just not in the mood for a hard workout, that's OKAY!
    Here are a few simple, low-intensity ideas for today:
    Take a 20-30 minute walk
    Do a few laps around the grocery store or mall
    Stretch for 10-15 minutes while watching TV
    Take the stairs when you can
    Do some gardening or yard work
    Park farther away and add a few extra steps to your day
    Take a short walk after meals

I got my steps in and did a 10 min Joel Freeman upper body workout from BODi.
I have been eating so much - I have had so many events- baby showers, games night- all with tons of food. I ate lots of chips, chocolate, desserts etc this week. I forgot I was doing this diet bet. Restart day tomorrow! Commuting to healthy eating the rest of the month of June. My biggest motivation is how awful I feel when I eat poorly.. I need to get my mindset on how good I’ll feel when I eat well and lose this extra weight. Need to get a good vision in my mind of where I wanna be.
