How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Man. I’m embarrassed. I finished my last diet bet last Saturday. I was SO proud of myself! I wasn’t perfect but did really fairly well. Well… this week, having zero accountability, I gain FIVE pounds back. We had donuts, ice cream, ate out 4 times (crushed some chips and salsa) and now I feel like GARBAGE! I felt like I was really getting into a groove with the last diet bet but apparently not… I’m just really more mad at myself than anything. So let’s start again and keep the ball going this time!

I’ve been there many times (this weekend included) but as long as I’m on the zigzagging hill I’m still happy. Vacation, parties, family gatherings etc. is part of life and I’m going to enjoy life (and some treats every now and then!). Don’t feel embarrassed, you can’t do anything about the past. Progress is progress. We can do this!
