How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

This is your reminder to make sure the floor is clear around your scale.

I’m so sad—My weigh-in wasn’t approved because my rug was close to the scale (under the lip but not the feet of the scale-I get it, but it stinks). I didn’t see the email from the referee until after breakfast this morning, and then I was a pound over. I thought about fasting and going on a second run, but I had a luncheon with guests at our church and then I hosted two of the guests for dinner, so it wasn’t a day for fasting.

My husband reminded me that my reward was the lost weight this time around. I’ll do better next time.

I’ve done the same thing before! I wrote my word on a whiteboard and didn’t leave space between it and the scale. They weren’t touching, but you couldn’t tell from the photo so I get it. I was traveling and also wasn’t able to re-weigh. It’s a bummer and I’m sorry it happened to you, too!

The good news is your main bet on yourself and your ability to stick to your plan still paid off! And if you’re going to miss a round, the first one is the best because it often has the highest participation -> lowest payout. But of course the money is only secondary. Showing up for our health is the main thing, and you did it! Keep the good momentum going!
