What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone

  • My weight has been a struggle for as long as I can remember. I lost 100 lbs last year while training for Everest. Ok, that may sound crazy, but I actually set a goal of doing the Everest base camp trek and actually did it in Sept 2024. Yep. I hiked to 17,556 feet. I was slow, but I did it. Then 1 week after getting back home I did a triathlon and placed 1st in my age group. Then the holidays hit and the weather sucked and I got lazy without crazy goals and gained back 35 lbs. I hate it.
So I need something to motivate me. It has been months and I have been stuck, struggling and slowly gaining weight…this is my reset. I’m hoping since it takes a month to make a habit that I’ll be back on track by the end of this game and plan on sticking with it through the holidays so I don’t end up back even heavier after them.
Here is me at Everest base camp. It was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Of the 13 of us that set out on the trek only 5 of us made it to base camp.
