How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I have needed to monitor my sodium intake and did reduce some sodium in this week’s meal prep.

It has been going great for me! The adjustments I have been making are upping my walking and doing it certain ways. I walk at least 30 minutes fasted, before breakfast. I alternate intensity every 3 minutes so that I get lots of health benefits without triggering my nervous system into a flare. I walk a little bit after meals too. A week and a half ago, I started working on making progress toward my first pull-up. I have had setbacks with getting sick, but my body is adjusting and improving, and the discipline to rest and recover has helped me not have 1 step forward and two steps back.
As far as diet goes, I am working on getting more protein, because I’m trying to get stronger muscles while losing weight. I want to make sure my weight loss is fat, not muscle. I just started making nutritious shakes and adding collagen powder. That is helping get my protein numbers better, in addition to the eggs, meat, etc. :)
