I wasn’t seeing progress so decided to try intermittent fasting about half way through this round and it helped the scale move a lot for me. Basically calorie restriction, but gave me something easier to follow than counting actual calories and portion control. If you’re struggling, I encourage you to give it a try. I eat for an 8 hour period out of the day- usually 2 healthy meals and 1 snack (usually protein shake).

Random question: do you have to pay shipping for progress prizes?

Congrats on finishing round 1! Now that the holidays are wrapping up, hopefully we’ll all have less temptations to fight!

Hi Paige,
The short answer is no, you don't have to pay shipping. For all prizes from DietBet, we cover the shipping. I believe prizes won from other hosts, like Coach Jenn or Ilana are the same but they handle their own prizes so I'm not positive.

If you have someone asking for shipping money for a prize you've won, please reach out to support@dietbet.com so we can look into that for you.

Anyone have any food recommendations for day 1. I love chicken and steak. My biggest weakness is fast-food. I have a problem waiting until the last minute before deciding on food and just grab fast-food because of it. Looking for lunch and dinner ideas. Not much of a breakfast person. Good luck to everyone

I just go with easy things. Protein with rice or potato. I have portions on steak, pork chops, salmon, tuna streaks and others in my freezer. Also since it's winter and im in MN it's soup season, so some type of soup with hamburger beans tomato sauce and different seasoning. I'm OK with eating the same things on rotation, so a plan works to so I know exactly what to grab to cook.
Maybe having easy things to snack on like yogurt, string cheese, jerkey to tide you over while you decide or while you're cooking.
