- Well. Last weekend was my partner’s birthday so we celebrated (maybe a little too much, but nothing I couldn’t come back from). Then Wednesday came and we found out we lost someone we thought would always be there. Between the post-party blues and the deeper sadness I’ve had a hard time doing anything this week that wasn’t laying on the couch. Yesterday I went back to work after a week off and tried not to cry in front of customers. But it felt good to have something else to focus on. So this morning I got up early and did yoga. I’m reading a book and drinking coffee. I’m planning to get back into the gym next week. I’ve had a setback, but this isn’t over!
