Half way through and I haven’t followed any kind of meal plan and need to put the focus on that. (Did go to a spinning class today).

What is everyone doing nutrition/meal plan wise?

I have done them all (diets) and learning about health and nutrition is a hobby of mine. Going to go with real food for sure.

I’m just tracking in my fitness pal. I keep my calories between 1600-1700 calories/day. Some days that involves junk, but most days I keep it pretty healthy.

Going shopping ~ so ate an apple just now so won’t be shopping hungry 👍 On that note: when I’m considering buying hard to resist treat (like a bag of chips of a package of cookies) ~ it’s easier for me to say NO once (at the store) then to have to say NO every time I walk into my kitchen. **Don’t Bring The Temptation into Your Home **

I made the mistake of drinking over the bank holiday weekend (2nd - 5th) and it totally derailed my progress and really affected my mood. It took me until the 8th to have any sort of motivation again. Had no idea how much of an impact alcohol had on me.

Alcohol unfortunately sucks from many health perspectives. It really ruins your sleep and even recovery for doing a workout the next day. I wish it wasn’t that way but as a result I only drink socially once in a blue moon ? It is what it is..

  • Hard run this morning - 7 miles. I drank with some friends last night, so it didn’t make getting up this morning easy to workout. But when you’re serious about your goals you make it work. Happy Saturday all.

  • Thursdays are the hardest day of my week because I start with hyrox in the morning and then after work I do 30 minutes one on one personal training. Hopefully I can fit a power nap in sometime today.
