  • Does anyone in here do workout videos? If so, what’s your favorite one? I’ve been focusing on eating healthier so far this month and am now trying to exercise more. I was only able to finish 20-ish minutes of this Denise Austin workout this morning—feeling exhausted, but great!

  • When you're actively trying to lose weight, do you prefer to cut back on sweets or cut them out completely?
    Personally, I find it easier not to take the first bite at all. But some people are able to satisfy their sweet tooth with just a small treat, like a square of dark chocolate.
    Which approach works best for you?
    In the long run, building a healthy lifestyle tends to be easier when you practice moderation instead of complete deprivation.

I’m working on moderation. It’s hard for me; if I get one bite, I typically feel like I want more of the sweet treat!

I try to cut it right out but don’t penalize myself if I need a bite … I have found that if I am too strict then if I have a bite I end up eating the whole box of chocolates or bag of chips …. So I always have to keep in mind it’s okay to have a bite I just don’t overdo it!

Last week, I got my walk steps but ate out and drank on my travels. I didn't lose but I didn't gain either. This week, no drinking, eating great, working out. Back on track. I am traveling the next 2 weeks for work though.. GOTTA STICK TO IT
