Hitting 40 has made me have to try different things to lose weight. It used to be easy for me, but lately I have had to focus on my eating. More water and smoothies. Shorter muscle based workouts and less walking/ biking. Interesting times at Sinclair High ??‍♀️

I’ve been struggling to find my own sweet spot here in my early 40s, too. I do a lot of lifting and always have but in the fall I ate and drank whatever I wanted and I’m still working hard to remove that excess weight! At least it was a learning moment. :-/

While you are tightening up your nutrition and cutting calories to lose weight, you may find yourself extra hungry. Adding extra veggies is a great way to bulk up your meals for very few calories and keep you full.

*Reminder! DON'T add extra butter, cheese, sauces etc. to your veggies because that will add extra calories. DO add some spices or hot sauce if you need a little extra flavor with your vegetables.
