Also I am SO CLOSE to my goal with only a few days left. I've discovered that I've been majorly bloating so I'm going to try my vibration plate, dry brushing, lymphatic massage. And, paradoxically, drink lots and lots of water. I'm starting to think I'm a camel and retain a ton of water when I am not hydrating enough.

    We have a kiddo’s birthday here today so while I won’t be getting in my regular Wednesday Workout, I am getting my stretches in today!

  • I started using a Halo ring for my steps instead of my watch tracker. I wore both at the same time for a few days and I'm noticing the ring is showing more steps than the watch. Maybe more accurate?

    What do you use to track your steps? Do you have step goals for each day? Move it move it!

I lost my halo ring and I'm do sad about it. I need to tear this place apart. I think it was the opposite for me though, my fit bit calculated more steps. But I think that's because I log my workouts manually into the fitbit app so that even if I'm pushing a stroller or cart at the store, I get points for my steps. The halo doesn't make that adjustment for me

I use a Fitbit watch and my Google fit on my phone and while they are usually off from each other a bit, I don't find it to be very much and I feel like I do miss Google fit steps on occasion in the evening when I leave my phone laying around.

  • I'm very fortunate to live near mountains, so hiking is a fun way for me to get my exercise. I'm not very motivated to go to a gym, but I'm happy to do 5 miles of hiking, which usually translates to about half of a pound of weight loss.

    This is on top of Brush Mountain yesterday, looking toward Mahogany Mountain, just West of Mount Timpanogos in Utah.

Such a good point! I'm also in the Intermountain region and hikes don't feel like workouts, they feel like escape.
