- Most Liked Comment: "This challenge starts tomorrow. Currently I'm "weighing up" my options (pun intended):

MY PLAN FOR LOSING ALMOST 13 POUNDS FROM 321.2 TO 308.4

EXERCISE:

Running is out of the question as this would hurt my knees. But walking, I can do. Let see if I can reach the well-known 10k steps a day.

FOOD STRATEGY:

1) Intermittence Fasting: First Meal will be lunch at 1:00pm and early dinner at 6:00pm. No Snacking!

2) Lose the Sodas: This one will be hard, but it well could be the most powerful option of the whole challenge.

3) Learn to like Salad: Will experiment a lot with different salad options. I don't really like them so it will be an acquired taste for me.

4) Reduce Carbs: I am not talking about elimination, but I am sure that my current intake is very high. Limit to no more than 75g. I am sure that at the moment I am having more than 150g.

5) Increase Proteins: Chicken breast will be my friend in this challenge. Also, I plan to eat eggs (the perfect protein supply).

6) Sleep: I always go to bed later than 12 and must wake at 6. Can't do nothing about the 6 but will do my best to add 1 or maybe 2 hours of Zzzz.

So that's it! That is my plan. It is very strict for me, but if I follow it to 80%, I am sure that I will reach my goal and maybe more.

I wanted to write my plan as a way to make myself accountable to my DietBet group. GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!

Everything happens for a reason!

My non-scale victory is that my skin gets sooo much better whenever I eat healthy and exercise more. I love that result! :hearts:

2.7 lbs left to lose.
It's so hard fasting for me right now because I'm finding more comfort in food. I'm so stressed out 😫 I'm going to do my steps tomorrow and incorporate jumping rope. Gonna try to skip the C4's for these last few days and eat lots of broccoli (my fave). The discipline is REAL right now!

Worse part about getting smaller? You have to put in more work to lose the weight. Once I reach my goal of 151, I'm going to try my hardest not to join another challenge and just maintain for awhile.

People underestimate how much alcohol can affect your journey as well. I watched myself get bloated and struggle with my weightloss because I had started drinking twice a week for about a month now. It's that darn Casamigos blanco

Alexis. It must be possible, since many do it. But, this is the first time in my entire life that I have lost weight intentionally. First time. And there is something about this, along with the group, that makes my brain switch into a logical place. Good luck and God bless .

Alexis J.

I've done it before without betting. Lost 70 lbs. Your motivation also lies in not losing your money. So my point still stands, the money matters. It's valuable enough for you to not lose. I've been on a weight management journey for 10 years, I live for this ! Good luck Jessie! :purple_heart:

I go a few times a few times a week for strength training, but I'm up by 5 every morning to walk on my walking pad before work. Great job getting it in!

tido

Not the gym but I have a walking pad in my room
