Hi! Can someone explain how the winners received $35, no extra money above the cost of playing the game? I know it’s not designed to make a lot of money off of it, but more to keep you accountable to reach your healthy goals! Which is why I love playing! This is my 15th game and I am excited to say, so far I lost total of 18 pds! I will be joining another game today, get me ready for Spring/Summer coming up! 😁 My last game I only win $1.64 above the cost of playing, but still something!

Here is how the math worked out:
Total pot - $4,865
DieBet's normal portion is 25% of the total pot.
That left $3,648 to split among the 106 game winners.
3,648/106 = $34.42
But, dietbet has a no lose policy. If you win the game you are guaranteed to at least get your original bet back. So everyone who won got $35.00.
In other words we had a high win rate this game!

I was confused too, I've used DB for years off an on and have never only got back what I paid. But I understand they need some money too, and they gave us back what we spent and we lost weight.

  • Hadn’t been on this baby in about three years!!! I was only able to complete five minutes… ? I will return tomorrow to do 10 minutes… ? nobody’s going to save us. We have to push ourselves.

Great job!! This looks so hard and challenging to do when I see people doing it at my gym!
Awesome job, getting back on it!
I tried a more simple, elliptical machine, I did it for few minutes, very slowly! lol This old lady will stick with the treadmill and bike for now!

To make things more fun and motivating, I like to include weekly challenges. These are completely optional, but they’re a great way to stay interactive and inspired. Plus, you don’t need to be a member to participate!

This week's Challenge: The Water Challenge 💧

Goal: Drink at least 64 oz. of water per day for 4 days this week.

How it works:

- Starting Friday, a post will be pinned at the top of the game feed where you can report in.

  • Hello & Welcome to February Fitness! I’m so glad you’re here. Join us by betting yourself $10 that you can lose 4% of your starting weight by the end of the month! I have been on a medication assisted weight loss journey due to being 6ft tall and 245, which is considered obese. I also got diagnosed with PCOS, which I’ve known without an official diagnosis, for years. I was prescribed Phentermine and told to stick to a 1300 cal/day diet. I do yoga with my husband and have a stair stepper thing while the weather sucks. I weighed in at 228.8 today but need to do my official weigh in for the game still. I’ve lost 16.2 lbs and will need to hit 219.5 ish to win our February game! The medication has made sticking to less food easier, but due to side effects I know I can’t take it long term. Hosting these games for the rest of year will help me keep going on what feels like too-good-to-be-true progress in order to hit my goal of losing 75 lbs this year. Just about 60lbs to go!

Hi! I am Becky from Ohio. Congrats Sarah, on your weight loss so far!! You have the determination to reach your year goal! You got this!
My highest weight was 230 in 2019, the year I stopped being my mom’s 24/7 caregiver, she passed away from Lewy Body dementia (worse type of dementia! :pensive: Actor Robin Williams had it and committed suicide :pensive:) That has been 9 years ago, and I am still on the journey now of taking care of me. Lost close to 70 pds, want to lose 25 more and then the hardest part, maintaining!! I am an old gramma, so not too many chapters left to get it right! Good luck to everyone on your journey! We got this!
