I’m interstate on a work trip in the Northern Territory, Australia at the moment. Am a couple of days into the full fortnight and trying not to stress that my home weight loss routine has been thrown into disarray. To say nothing of the fact that I don’t have access to a scale (it was hard enough meeting the 20kg checked baggage allowance, suitcase weighed in at 21kg, so wasn’t able to pack scale). Will need to prioritise finding/buying one in advance of upcoming weigh-in. I also need to stop taking advantage of my daily travel meal allowance and eating out at cafes and restaurants (even though that’s often one of the perks of work travel)!
It’s morning here now-I woke insanely early, before 5am-am waiting for first light so I can go out for a run somewhere along the foreshore. Have missed a couple of days of exercise & am feeling it: the scale may well be too! I can’t let all my hard work to date “slip away” (or, more aptly, pile back on) over this fortnight.
