Only one week to go, and Halloween is this week! My eating usually goes south near Halloween with all the candy floating around. Anybody have any strategies for avoiding the candy and staying on track with my eating plan so I can win this DietBet game?

I was also going to suggest having fruit alternatives around

I’ve made a point to figure out lower calorie sweets that work in different situations. Fruit works sometimes but many times if I want candy, that won’t end until I get candy. I love those nerds clusters, 100 cals for 17 pieces and sometimes I’m good after just a couple! I keep these little Talenti mango sorbet bars in the freezer always, 45 calories and just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. Then I’ll actually keep bite size candy on me for when I’m in the office or running errands, 1-2 helps satiate the craving and stops me from grabbing a much larger treat like ice cream or binging larger candy servings!
