How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

I’ve had a good friend who was my workout buddy and running friend for over a decade. We bonded at first because we were both really slow runners. We had just walked the Bloomsday race in Spokane a week from last Sunday. On Friday, she laid down for a nap and never woke up. She was only 59.

Needless to say, I’m still in shock and just beginning to grieve. I’m really going to miss her. For now, I can’t even try to work out. I’m going to have to take of myself in other ways for awhile, like spending time with the girls in my running group and doing things to honor my friend.

That's so sad. I'm sorry for your loss!

Oh man, I am so, so sorry to hear that. :( Do what you need to to heal right now. Spend time with friends, maybe do something nice for her family?
