I can sympathise with you! I spent Jan-March last year dealing with chronic gallstone attacks. I had multiple stones with the biggest being 16mm in diameter (the bile duct is only 5mm). Had my gallbladder removed on Easter Tuesday, but they left a couple of small stones behind, so had to have a second procedure done the following week. Try just eating bland food like plain chicken, toast, potatoes or if you can tolerate some salad. I struggled a lot because one week I could eat something, the next I’d eat that same thing and I’d have a massive attack and be in a lot of pain. From about mid Feb, I was having about 3-4 attacks a week. Once I recovered from the surgery, I’ve been fine. Don’t have any real issues with food since. Some people can struggle a bit if they eat something too fatty etc. I did have one day where I had pain like I was having an attack and I put it down to the fact that I’d had a few days of eating pretty crappy food and it was my body letting me know that wasn’t good. Good luck, hopefully the surgeon is happy to operate and you don’t have to wait too long

@everyone update I have pancreatic insufficiency and the medication that I take for it. CREON causes the gallstones so no matter what I do the medication will continue to cause them. I had an attack so bad two weeks ago I ended up in the hospital for a week and then in surgery and in the hospital this MondayI am home now. Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers.
