  • Today has been a day. Wasn't able to eat breakfast or lunch so I got McDonald's on the way home. Definitely not the healthiest thing to eat but at least I'm still in my calorie count for the day

Anything can work. Calorie deficit is key and you did that. Good job!!. I had McDonalds for supper last night too, but also stayed in a deficit. I was down 0.8 this morning. I don’t ever believe in forbidden food. For me that leads to binging. But if I tell myself I can have it occasionally then life is so much better.

Hey Justene, I am counting calories, too, but the source of the calories is important since certain foods have different impacts on insulin level. High insulin prevents from burning fat
I have to admit there is hardly a day I dont eat forbidden foods myself. Mostly stuff colleagues share at work
