Hi, I need to lose about 60 pounds in about 6 months in order to have hip replacement surgery due to arthritis.

I'll be 62 in August and i have a need to lose almost 3 times that amount in order to be healthy. But getting that first 60 and the surgery done will help tremendously with the rest of the weight.

My weight loss difficulties have always been, I'm an emotional eater, struggle with keeping motivated and with movement. I struggle with hypothyroidism, anemia, blood pressure, depression, panic attacks, gluten intolerance... I do take medicines for everything except gluten. I just stay away from wheat products. I do like the more very low carb type of diet though have not gone so far as counting carbs and getting into keto. The low carb tends to help in eliminating the actual hunger. So I lean towards a ketovore style.

Ok, that's my bio. Sorry if I shared too much. I've done diet bets in the past and never shared in the comments. Most i quit or just missed the goal weight. Hoping this one will be better for me.
