For me being super active brought my weight down pretty quickly and eating low carb for the majority of the day. My new job demands I stay on my feet for most part of the work hours plus squatting, sitting down and getting up constantly.

I didn't step on the scale since weighing in cause I didn't want to get discouraged if it didn't move...weighed myself today and *I hit my target for this dietbet*!! 😁
Plus, my BMI is in finally just barely in the "normal" range for the first time ever probably 😅

I am so frustrated. I have been doing so well with increasing protein, decreasing fats, watching portion sizes and calorie intake. I have been moving every day. My steps have gone from 3000 to a minimum of 7000 per day. What do I have to show for it? An extra 5 lbs! 😭

Great job increasing your steps! You may have added in some extra lean muscle. Try a rest day and some extra water for recovery!

  • When u are driving and an hour away for an appointment and not sure how long u will be gone for the day cause u have other errands to do, and trying to make healthier choices... pack them! Healthy Road snacks for the win!

I drive a lot for work. A fellow driver gave me a tip to avoid fast food (even sometimes I’d buy a snack I didn’t need just for a potty stop)…Grocery stores! Fruit, precut veggie assortment, Laughing Cow cheese wedges, nuts, protein bars, single yogurt cups. I carried a pocket knife n plastic silverware in the vehicle. And grocery stores have restrooms too.

It’s now the time of year to put my little cooler back in my Michigan vehicle w/ an ice pack for a whole day on the road.

Helped a friend pack last weekend and throughout the week…and ate too much cake. She had an amazing homemade carrot cake from Easter. Felt like a reward for all the hard work we were doing. Threw me off a bit. I’ve been back on my mindful eating the last three days and I’m feeling more balanced, empowered, and less bloated. Love this feeling. I even denied cake yesterday and that felt amazing.
