I decided to start keto again. Lost 35 lbs last time and maintained it until I got pregnant with my son and the rest is history. I had such a good day yesterday. I had a keto protein shake for breakfast, a salad with chicken, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, bell peppers, cottage cheese, shredded cheese, and sunflower seeds for lunch, and rotisserie chicken, roasted broccoli, and green beans for dinner. I allowed myself a tiny sweet treat of 3 freshly cut up pineapple chunks. I tracked all my calories and macros and it was a great day for me and keto! Today, I had an early morning meeting in which I was presenting. I didn't have time to make my shake. I arrived at the office and someone had brought donuts. Well. Today was a keto fail! Luckily, tomorrow is a new day!

Office treats and snacks that people offer. You are really hard to turn down. Sometimes simply because they’re free, but also they could actually be a delicacy but then again they could be literal trash and it’s just in front of you. I have a snack drawer of candy that my wife maintains at the house that I have recently demanded be removed because I know how difficult it is to live in my house knowing that it’s there while I’m building new habits. Did I have two of those little treats yesterday? Yes I did. Am I a failure? No I am not. Keep on keeping on and think of all things you’ve accomplished for the totality of the wind. Each day is a winning opportunity.
