How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Beginning week 3 for me - week 2 went well but could be better,

✅ ate on plan with zero cheating
✅ no alcohol
✅ maintained at least a 1000 calorie deficit daily
✅ exceeded my step goal and my active minutes
✅ drank more water
❌ did not do any strength training

Down total of 6.6 lbs at end of week 2

This week I need to focus more on exercise plan.

How’s everyone doing? Feeling good about round 1?

It’s been slow go BUT scale is finally moving down again. And i noticed my first non scale victory of increased walking speed

Amazing progress, well done.
A 1000 kcal daily deficit is very, very aggressive and may not be sustainable long term.
I would suggest drastically reducing this deficit to at most 500 kcal a day.
If that deficit includes calories 'earned' from activity, be aware that almost all fitness trackers drastically overestimate calories lost from activity.
It is best to only eat up to half the calories earned through activity back to avoid long-term disappointment.
I hope this doesn't dampen your spirit --- you are doing amazing.
I used to cut drastically, was never able to maintain that long term, and it always ended up being counterproductive (I gained weight).
I am taking a long term, slow, gentle, and consistent approach now, and that works better for me.
You do what works for you.
Great work!
