How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

My weight has been up and down since starting this dietbet. That's typical but usually will gradually lose over time. That hasn't happened this time. Really need to focus on my diet, especially sodium and water. We ate out last night and even though my calorie intake was pretty good yesterday my meal last night was salty, causing my weight to go up a pound and a half since yesterday! Need yo be super diligent!

I’m there too.. drinking lots of water and constant with the positive self talk

Remember, 1 oz of water weighs 1 oz. So 32 oz of water weighs 2 lbs. I don't say that to suggest we don't drink water or stay properly hydrated. Just realize that if you are drinking 64-128 oz of water a day, that's 4-8 lbs. So if your water consumption is fluctuating then your weight is going to fluctuate as well.
