How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Holy smokes. I started 25 Min Speed Train, my first Joel program, this October and absolutely loved the almost meditative focus and intensity of it. I saw some real strength gains and knew I was growing muscle underneath (I'm still working on food and know those muscles will reveal themselves as I work toward a caloric deficit).

I'm actually glad the live workout this morning was rescheduled because it helped me to really focus on the LIIFT MORE format - goodness it moves fast and feels different. I thought 42 mins would feel like a lifetime compared to 25 mins but I didn't have time to argue. I am a little nervous for how sore I will be tomorrow just given the heavier weights and fewer reps, but this is definitely the burn I'm looking for.

If anyone has tips for how to navigate two dumbbells instead of one heavy one for moves, and any mantras to not get down on yourself if you can't keep up with the reps or need more time to adjust, I'd love to hear them.

Until them I'm staying curious and excited! I actually impressed myself by how much I could keep up with the HIIT and even added the optional jump squat!

In the lift more super black CJ uses two dumbbells in a lot of of the moves, so you may just want to look at some of those videos for pointers. It seemed like for the most part he was holding them up against his chest, kind of underneath his chin. I hit pause a lot during the lift more workouts. There are some of the exercises that I just can’t keep up with them on. But I also keep track of my weights and need to reference my sheets for each exercise. Not sure if there is a way for you to reach out to me directly on this app if you need any more pointers or have any other questions, but I’m happy to help! I have Dunn lift more and the lift more super block many times with my bow flex dumbbells.

Also forgive any spelling errors… Using voice to text because that was a lot of words and I’m not editing!
