How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

Weellll, I had a crappy day yesterday. Went over on calories and was doing some emotional eating. But, I did track everything at least. 😁 And, I’m not giving up (which would have been my reaction to past set backs). Anyone else have some good coping strategies?

Easier said than done sometimes. Maybe when you feel the emotions welling up you could lace up the shoes and go for a walk to get the adrenaline going. Distract yourself. Its hard though, when food has been a comfort it's hard to just switch that off. Take care of yourself.

Setbacks are part of the journey! Don’t beat yourself up over it, that makes it worse. Accept it as an inevitable part of the weight loss process. Tomorrow’s another day! As far as coping strategies go, I have an ongoing list of 5 things I need to do so I make myself do all of them before I “treat” myself. So far I haven’t made it through the list before bedtime.
