If you want to join another game after this one, do you need to use your weigh out? Or do you have to submit or can you submit another weigh in? I want to join another game that starts in the 5th, but I would like to give myself a few days of grace before joining another. Maybe start on the 7th or 8th. Thanks.

I’m surprised because mentally, I was hoping the scale would be lower today, but I did lose two pounds going into my period week, so I guess I’ll take the win. I’m also doing a smaller calorie deficit than the last time I lost weight, so I am losing more sustainably even if it’s slower. Fingers crossed that I don’t lose motivation, because I really want to be able to fit into my old clothes again. I’ve been holding off buying new clothes because I felt like the weight gain was so much quicker this time around than any previous times I’ve lost weight (thanks, perimenopause). I know losing even 5% of my body weight will help so much with hormonal crap that I just have to keep doing this. Anyway, happy Friday, y’all.

I am really struggling with the process and the patience of losing weight. I want results *now* and am finding it difficult to stick to my plans when I am not seeing immediate results.
Anyone else experiencing this? Or does anyone have advice on how to stay focused and not get discouraged when you feel like you're doing good but the scale says you're not?

Hi Misty! You can submit your Initial weigh-in up until Day 14 of the game! If you don't have a full length mirror or someone to take your picture, you can take it "selfie style" by holding your phone above your head. You can also set up your phone on a table and use the self-timer option. Just as long as we can see you from head to toe!
