My favorite snack is shredded cheese, add pickles, and the more shredded cheese on top. Place it in the air fryer and they are so crispy when finished!

  • Well girly pops, I didn’t not do so hot yesterday. I stress ate some frozen waffles while on my bread baking spree. And really just stress ate in general. Nothing horrible besides the waffles but I’m feeling it today. I’m SO bloated. Just trying to remind myself that it’s okay, it happens to all of us and that’s why we are here, the pounds I probably gained will come off as quickly as they came on and just jump back on the horse and keep going. Also, sometimes you just need that binge to get it out of your system. Sorry for not popping on yesterday! I ended up making a total of 24 bread bowls. About 8 were rejects. Everything I did Saturday basically over proofed and were not up my standards. I might have also caught a piece of parchment paper on fire 😂 whoops. All is well though. Glad to be back to normal programming! - Just confirmed with my MIL that she can take my son for a little bit after I get off work so I can get my workout in. I already know it’s going to kick my ass. Which I need after the last couple days. OOOOKAY Let’s go new week!

Those look fantastic! Great job! I can’t imagine how much work went into those. I’m sure you were glad to have them out of the way.
You’ve got this! It’s a new week and a new day. The only way we can fail is if we give up! I’ve been struggling a bit recently as I’ve been sick with a bad cold for a week or so and just have had no energy to be active and have definitely bed rotted a bit but I forced myself to get a workout in yesterday that I was proud of and am feeling so much better this morning thankfully so I’m going to kick myself back into gear and get back on track! We can do this!

  • I made one of my fave easy dinners tonight! A butterball natural turkey burger wrapped in a carb balance wrap with onion and provolone and I topped it off with a bit of Guy’s Top Secret Sauce with a side of Ore-Ida fries and pickles. It almost makes me feel like I’m enjoying a fast food meal but in reality it’s half the calories and is decent on fiber and protein too! The whole thing came out to 440 calories, 17.4 grams of fiber and 33.7 grams of protein. I love a fun and easy dinner like this from time to time. 😋

The wrap! I get the Mission Carb Balance wraps and they have 17 grams of fiber per wrap. I have one almost everyday in some sort of way to help boost me towards my daily fiber goal. :smile:

I swore I commented on this! Maybe I forgot to hit post! Anyways looks and sound so yummy! I wish I could cook ground bird but it freaks me out! :laughing: if someone else cooks it, I’m good but I cannot physically cook it!

So, at this bowling alley birthday party for my daughter's friend, I ended up eating some bowling food. The dad of the birthday girl brought it over to us. The girls with me, really weren't eating any, and honestly out of politeness I just wanted him to see that we appreciated it, and I ate (a normal size) portion of it. However, I cannot believe how crappy it made me feel. Now that I'm eating healthier, the way I used to eat feels awful. It's a good and a bad thing. Because, I almost feel this cursed feeling, not to be dramatic. But, I just can't go back. And, while that's a good thing. I also am becoming steadily more aware of just how gross and toxic my past behaviors were/are if and when I ever pick them up again. I ate the leftovers later after we got home, because my back was hurting bad from the day and it was easier not to cook for myself, and I got a headache all through the middle of the night from the sodium. It's just wild.

Yes! It truly is crazy how differently we feel once we start eating better. We dont realize it until we eat something not healthy. It’s like a woah feeling! I had similar happen to me when we ended the January bet. I ate mozzarella cheese sticks with my son one night and they made me feel horrible!! And they weren’t even fried. Just frozen and oven baked. Eating healthy isn’t always fun and I do t know about you two but I’m seriously ready to make this change the norm!

Also I’m not a big fan of meal prepping. It feels overwhelming but I tried to find 2 meals that are healthy that I really like and make them up on the same day then divide them in containers for the week so I always have something on hand to heat up on days I’m just not feeling it. It’s helped a lot and feels much less overwhelming than meal prepping a bunch of stuff.

  • I enjoyed a lovely English breakfast this morning. So many delicious flavors and the whole meal came out to around 500 calories total. I love a good brunch! 😋💕

If you do choose to eat bread sourdough is the way to go. Especially if it’s homemade! Easier for our bodies to digest and helps with gut health!

Happy official FIRST day of our little DietBet! I hope you two don’t get tired of me telling you thank you for giving me a chance, because THANK YOU!! What’s everyone’s plans this weekend? Busy, chill, somewhere in between?

I’ll be making 16 sourdough bread bowls that I was asked to make for a luncheon and I have a dinning room table that needs some attention. Somehow it always becomes a catch all. I usually don’t do anything for my toddler for Valentine’s Day but this year I made him a craft box with coloring pencils, crayons, markers, stickers, paint, playdoh, coloring books, glue sticks all the fun stuff to hopefully keep him occupied on our cold winter days when we can’t go outside and while I get stuff done around the house. Hopefully it works! 😆❤

I’ve got 19 totally bread bowls in my fridge bulk fermenting. So far so good but we will officially see tomorrow! I have tomorrow off so I will be spending my day baking them all! I’ll post pictures tomorrow evening when they’re done baking!! My ovens going to be the one getting a workout tomorrow :laughing:
