  • Good morning and happy Wednesday!

    Run 1 for the week for me is done! Yes, I still have runs 2 and 3 to do, but those will get done later this week. I hit up my favorite lake before it got too warm today, oh the joys of living in the Midwest.

    How are you doing with your goals this week? Are they still attainable or is it time for a midweek change up?

My goal this week is to work with my body.
My body is not wanting to do the things it used to or I should say as fast. But I'm not giving up. I'll kick it into gear. :)

  • We are kicking off this week strong!

    What are your goals for this week? My goal is to get out for a run at least 3 times this week. Sometimes I forget that just getting outside is a fabulous tool to help reset my mindset. It doesn’t have to be fancy, just outside where I can let my brain quiet down for a bit.

My goal is to eat healthy. I just had a knee injection so I need to rely on my self-discipline where food is concerned this week. My exercise will be limited.

I’m Trying to increase my training for my 10k coming up in August. My current time is a slow and steady 9:30 per km, trying to drop my time to 9 minutes! My biggest goal is to run 4 days this week at the track- 1 run down this morning, 3 to go! Other than that keeping focusing on my diet and I need to prioritize some work this week! I’m behind on invoicing LOL

    This weekend is going to be super busy for me, we have family coming to town and it’s always a good time but it’s hard to stay on track and to take a few minutes for me. My goal this weekend is to not overdo it, I’m a fan of everything in moderation, and to get at least a 30 minute walk in both days.

    What does your weekend look like and what are your goals?

Getting in enough protein is a challenge for me, so I love this goal!

Plan ahead. If I plan what I'm going to eat ahead of time, I'm pretty good at keeping it.
I leave extra calories available for an unexpected snack that might come my way. :)

Hi, I’m new too and from how I understand it you don’t have to become a member nor do you have to post progress weigh ins. Thats only if you want to become a member but it’s not necessary for the challenge. :blush:

I’m considering going vegan but want to make sure I have plenty of energy for workouts. Recovering from knee injury so trying to eat clean. I am trying to keep a good balance so I don’t gain it all back plus some like I did on last challenge. Any tips encouraged :)

I am just trying to eat a little cleaner and lose a couple of pounds before our vacation- to be more mindful. Jennifer L- are you vegetarian? If not maybe try that 3 days per week and then more etc. Then later add on 3 days of vegan eating. There is the whole 30 book- but I think that has some meat- they do have a vegetarian version also- for 30 days.

Hi all! Megan is correct, this is not a member only game but you are able to join the game length membership through the game page via DietBet.com if you want to try it out for $5. With the game length membership, you can submit weekly weigh in's to be entered into the prize drawings.

What day of the week is the offical weigh in ?
Since this started on a Monday and ends on a Sunday???

The 24th was the official start day, I think you can weigh in from a day before or so to like 12 or 14 days in. The official weigh-in for the end is April 21 - 22.

Hi Donna,
Mary is correct. The game started March 24 but you have until April 6 to submit your initial weigh in.
Final weigh ins will be due April 21-22.
DietBet members can submit weekly progress weigh ins as well. There isn't a specific day of the week to submit but they do need to be submitted by Wednesday night to be entered into this week's prize drawing. :)

Me too. I ended up just taking the pictures, then submitting them by "adding from my camera roll." That worked for me. Good luck!
