  • Goodness, I’m running behind today! I ended up with a kiddo coming home from school sick, so plans needed to change. I feel bad for her because it’s the last day before winter break here.

    Today maybe the epitome of making a plan and having it all go to pieces. ????? So we are changing the plan! I’ll still get my treadmill time in and then it’s time to plan the weekend. Goal is to stay on top of my hydration! Hydration is one of those things that can fall to the wayside if I’m not careful. I always have a water bottle next to me but then I also try to focus on getting water in at mealtimes.

  • Welcome to Workout Wednesday! How are you getting your movement in today?

    I hit the treadmill this morning before work but I’m also going to get in a solid yoga session after work to help my body move better for me.

    Here’s one of my favorite bodyweight workouts just in case you need some inspiration! I love that you don’t need any equipment so you can do it anywhere!

My mom is in cardiac rehab after a massive heart attack in september and I got a gym membership at the centre she goes to so while shes doing cardio/and strengthening exercises, I am too in solidarity :)

    This is always the time where I start to wonder am I doing what I need to make my goals.

    Am I eating what I should be? Protein is always a challenge for me.

    Am I staying hydrated? Most days, yes.

    Am I hitting my workout goals? Begrudgingly 😆

    So I am making progress on my health even if the scale isn’t moving just yet.

  • Good morning and happy Friday!

    It’s almost the weekend and in this house we plan for our successes! What is your plan for success this weekend?

    I have our first family holiday party today, so I’m getting my workout in early and focusing on eating healthy during the day so I can have some treats in moderation at the party. Do I want to eat all the Chex Mix. Yes. Will I? No, one small bowl with lots of water will be fine.

  • Good morning and welcome to Workout Wednesday!

    Are you a morning or evening workout person? Personally I have to get my day started with some purposeful movement before the day dissolves into work and family needs.

    Also, is there a specific workout you are using? I’m training for a 10k so I use my Garmin, along with Ryse and WayBetter to keep me on track. For my home workouts, I love FitOn!
