Question! I’m 43 years old…very much in perimenopause. I workout at 530am every morning. I usually drink my preworkout before my workout and that’s it. Do I need to eat something before I workout? Is it bad for you to workout on an empty stomach??
It’s not for cardio, but lifting heavier I’d recommend a carb/protein snack. I’m 44 and workout at 5am and have found over the last year that I do much better lifting if I eat something small like a protein waffle (Kodiak) a little before working out, along with my preworkout.
