Today I remembered that I had a third heavier band for burnout in More Legs and I’m so proud that I’m to the highest band level. Also, give me a burnout any day over HITT.

  • Absolutely crushed my goal! My personal diet setup worked exceptionally well for me (modified 5:2 Mon/Friday, keto-adjacent Tues-Thurs, traditional carb-heavy, high protein, moderate fat weekends), and since I was coming from a place of excess to a place of on-point nutrition... shed more weight in 3 weeks than would typically be considered "healthy"... but in talking with my physician, he says I did it in a healthy way and my body simply responded better than anticipated. Down in the high teens over the past 3 weeks, from 238 @ weigh-in to 219.2 this morning. The thing I'm enjoying most, outside of the workouts, I'm actually eating things that I'm thoroughly enjoying! Last week, based on scale/watch estimates, I lost 5.4 lbs of fat and gained 1.9 lbs of muscle. I know this is all part of the adaptation phase, so I won't see numbers like that for much longer, but it's a nice, positive, bio-feedback loop. So was trimming 2.5+ inches off my belt (one of those track belts with no holes)... I ran out of track, so had to trim it down.

I feel like there's an extremely noticeable shift in the photos. Still have a ways to go to get back to where I was in 2022, but getting closer! ~29 lbs to go to get back to where I was in 2022 when I felt arguably the best I've felt in my life.

As long as I dont drop below 210, I should be safe, and I dont expect to drop to that point. But good call out, thanks!

That is amazing!!

  • I probably won’t make the 4% and I would have been surprised if I had because I’ve struggled to get movement for years and the fact I’ve lost 4lbs in 3 weeks astounds me. Yesterday I skipped HITT for active rest (we are camping this weekend so lots of walking in a hilly campground) and today a 3+ mile hike of Bushkill falls and about 1,000 steps, some of which I carried 37lbs on my back (aka my 3 year old).

I don’t have a picture to post and I’m not sure I will hit 4%, but today I hit under 185 for the first time in over 7 years (right when I was first pregnant with my daughter). I need belts to hold up my pants, but my belts are now also too big. Something to celebrate as I’ve struggled to gain movement for years. Celebrating today and then I keep moving forward!

  • Since a full HITT workout is not my preferred activity, I chose to ride for 20 minutes on the bike this morning and a 2 mile kayak date with my husband. Got to watch a pair of bald eagles ? fly around and continue to celebra my core gains since last summer. I was paddling so much faster and not wearing out like previous years. Happy Saturday!

  • If I have to do HITT I would do the intervals approach any day. Also, proud moment that I was able to do full sit-ups with no momentum almost through three sets. I’ve struggled for so long to get strong abs (pregnancy x2 in my late 30s and and 40 destroyed my core) so to finally progress to something that is a testament of 3 yrs of hard work! 😓

  • Super happy that stuck with 30# weights for all three sets of rows. I wanted so badly to drop set, but I knew I could do it. It was a fight at the end, but o kept my form.?💪?

  • Good Morning! Legs are shaky, but I do love single leg balance exercises because I see the strength I’ve built the last few years. Also got in a short walk for cardio. Off to conquer the day with good nutrition ?

  • Took yesterday as an active rest day for some hiking. Mother’s Day is a tough day for me emotionally as my firstborn passed away unexpectedly two years ago at the age of 4.5 years old. I have an energetic 3 year old, but I struggled with self control on eating yesterday. Back at it today with a great workout this morning, good nutrition choices, and Greek Chicken Bowl for dinner.
