This is definitely not going as well as I thought it would. My body does NOT want to drop the weight. Ugh. I'm hoping that if I'm patient and keep doing what I'm doing - training intake and going to the gym -that it'll reach a point where it just falls off. I'm prediabetic, so losing weight is not about looking slimmer, though that is a nice bonus.

My body is holding onto weight as well. I’ve been trying to lose weight for 10 months now, working out regularly and counting macros. The scale won’t budge. I feel for you :heartpulse:

Stay encouraged! Losing weight is hard and takes real commitment. I’ve struggled with my weight for years. But I’ve defied that I’m going to keep pushing even on the days the scale doesn’t reflect the way I want it to. I’ve started to pay closer attention to my body, that’s the real result.

  • Stepped outside to connect with nature today. 2 mile walk complete and I feel great.

Our Louisiana weather is bipolar at times but I’d take it over the snow and cold any day

  • Happy Wednesday!

If the scale feels stubborn this week, take a deep breath. You’re not doing anything wrong.

Weight loss is rarely linear, and fluctuations are a completely normal (and human) part of the process.

What matters most is that you’re still showing up for yourself: eating mindfully, moving your body in ways that feel good, and allowing rest when you need it. Those habits count, even when the results feel quiet. Consistency always catches up. Sometimes it just takes a little longer than we’d like.

    Check-in:
    • What’s one non-scale win you’re proud of lately?
    • What’s helping you stay consistent right now?

Be patient with yourself. You’re doing more right than you think.

NSV- I’m getting better at tracking. I’m also more mindful of what I feed my brain in self talk, moving towards not being so hard on myself and recognizing everyday (small) victories.

You guys are all SO motivating! I am feeling so excited after reading your messages! Thank you so much for sharing! It really does make a difference! This week, I did food prep, so I always have healthy choices when I'm hungry. I don't meal prep, but I food prep so I can pick and choose!

  • Happy Monday!

Week 2 is where consistency really matters. Motivation can fade, excitement can dip, and that’s okay! Habits are what carry you through. You don’t need a “perfect” week; you just need a steady one.
Pick a few simple behaviors you can repeat most days this week and let those be enough. Consistency beats intensity every time!

    Check-in:
    • What’s one habit you want to keep steady this week?
    • How can you make it easier to follow through?

Working out!

Tiffany T.

My habit change is eliminating processed sugar from my diet but taking it one week at a time. Slow and steady! I got this! We got this!
