Random question, and I've seen people do it both ways, so maybe it doesn't matter...
In Bulgarian split squats, the foot thats on the bench, is the top of the foot supposed to be laying flat on the bench, or are just the toes on the bench so your foot it standing more perpendicular to the bench?

I do both … whatever feels better on a given day but it hits quad harder/deeper if my foot is flat

  • I started DigDeeper last week before I decided to do this DietBet, so I figured I'd just keep with it (kind of, I decided to switch out the Wednesdays DD full body with BarreBlend full body days). Shaun Ts leg days always kill me.

Does anyone else struggle with veggies? I want to like them but it’s so hard. I’ve never liked them even a little. I can tolerate green beans so I’m sticking with that but ugh, no fun!?

Have you tried roasting veggies? You can toss with a bit of olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast spread out in a single layer on a baking sheet at ~400° till you see some browning occur/they've softened to desired doneness. Works well with the likes of carrots, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, asparagus, and green beans and more! It brings out some of the natural sweetness of certain veggies and enhances the flavor tremendously and makes 'em prettier to look at to boot, and since we "eat with our eyes", that's also a great perk! Hope you find a way that works for ya.
