I got some major work to do. Recovering from vacation is kicking my tail. We went out to eat a lot, and I knew I'd gain some weight, but I'm struggling to get it back off. 3 lbs to come back off just to make weight. Not my goal weight like I wanted.

It's hard to navigate vacations. This happened to me last month. I tried to make better choices, and thought I did, but the scale said otherwise when I got home. Ope! Don't look back, just move forward, find new strategies and do the work. You've got this!

This round was tough at weigh-in time. I was under by 5 pounds, knowing I was going to be vacation and eating out every meal while taking 3 days to drive from Omaha to Phoenix (we took the scenic route and spent extra time in the mountains). I made weigh-in by .1 lb. Gonna be working extra hard this month to get rid of vacation weight.

Hi Chance and Eric! The goal to win the round is 10% but the "qualifying goal" to continue to the next round is 6%. Therefore, if you don't win this round, you still have a chance at the final pot as long as you aren't too far behind. This is to prevent any unhealthy sprints to the finish.

I am in the same boat. I will be someplace else for this weigh in and was planning on taking my scale. I emailed to ask if I should weigh in earlier and if it would make a difference with the different setting. But that was several days ago, and I haven’t heard anything back.

I’ve seen a lot about upping my protein for better weight loss. Can anyone recommend me a protein powder (and maybe a coffee/caramel/hazelnut type protein shake recipe) that would be good for losing weight?

I’ve started slowing down on my weight loss, and I just started my menstrual cycle so I’m super bloated! I think I’m still good for the weigh in, but I don’t want any surprises for my next weigh in!

I use Muscle Milk protein powder. I make a caramel espresso and put the powder in with the coffee.

Fairlife chocolate protein drinks are my favourite!! They taste just like chocolate milk. You can buy them in packs from Costco (in individual bottles). A little pricey but fantastic for on the go!

It happens. Don't get discouraged by it. The same thing happened to me. And then, to top it off, I had a lunch meeting with a pizza buffet. That equals a fruit smoothie for dinner.

Thanks y'all, I'm hoping just water weight, I did 2 hard workouts the day before so my muscles were probably hurting :sweat_smile: I only weigh in every Wednesday so just need to trust the process and not give up!! :muscle:
