Monday, I will exercise-walk!
Writing this everywhere, to keep myself accountable.
Friday night is off every week.
Saturday night, I didn't walk. A friend was over, so I let it slide.
Sunday night, busy video-calling family plane rides away (Zooming and Teaming...used to be Skype). So, it's not happening again.
And just like that, 3 days have gone by without exercise-walking.
Failing is SOOOO easy, while succeeding takes quite a bit of focus & planning.

I always try to think of it like an appointment that I will get charged for if I miss. For me mornings are better so it’s less time to have an excuse. Keep working towards it :blue_heart:

I’m being more intentional about my water intake and eating more veggies at lunch! It’s a stressful week coming for me, so take breaths and remember food doesn’t help solve my problems. Remembering it’s about balance! We can do it!

  • Now that I see my first round goal, I am feeling pretty nervous! I am the heaviest I’ve ever been because we bought, gutted, and are now remodeling a home with the goal of moving in June. I’m putting in 40+ hours into the remodel a week, working 50 hours a week, helping manage my mother’s cancer, and am not peri-menopausal.

    My plan : lots of veggies, lots of lean protein, and enough water and coffee to burst. This little dude says he’ll take care of the marching orders!

Can I encourage a change in your verbiage a little?? What if instead of “like” you do, it’s “because” you do?
My thoughts lately have shifted from a less negative passive way, to how do my family and friends tell me things. They love me and I love me too! We have to speak to ourselves like our best friends do. Changing my thinking that way made a huge difference! Great job gearing towards positive thinking :purple_heart:
