How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • About to weigh in, and I’m confident I’ve reached my goal. I have been absent posting and commenting here because things have gotten pretty tumultuous lately. Unexpectedly evicted from the apartment we’ve been in for 5 years. Even though the landlord gave us a long letter explaining his decision and reassuring us we were perfect tenants and he’s enjoyed having us here, appreciated our care of his property, and loved watching our boys grow, we were only given 30 days to find a new living situation. That somehow feels a bit like a punishment. It’s very stressful, and my anxiety is through the roof. 😵?💫
Typically I’m an emotional eater, so this could have derailed me. I’d love to say I stayed strong and made healthy choices in the face of my struggle, but the truth is that I’ve simply lost my appetite and in fact have had to force myself to eat even the bare minimum. 😞
So, I’ve made my goal and then some. At least I won’t lose my $ at a time when I’ll need it more than I expected to.
But I definitely DON’T recommend the eviction diet. 😔

stress diet is no good. take this win and find the next win, or just placing. Keep going, stay healthy, always make plans and appreciate what is in front of you. That’s the best i got without being too cliche. congrats!

Oh gosh, Lori, I'm sorry about the living situation. I recommend checking your local renter laws. Here in where we are in CA if you are being asked to leave and are not being evicted for cause, the landlord has to give you at least 60 days. I know it's not the same everywhere but knowing your rights is good anyway.
Good for you not giving in to stress eating! That's a battle I struggle with, too. It's a tough mental challenge to overcome but you can do it! Consider stress walking while watching a good tv show! :D
I hope that leaving your current home will lead you to an even better place!
