How do you verify the weight loss?

For all official weigh-ins, you'll be prompted to submit your official starting weight. Our standard weigh-in process involves you submitting 2 photos: one of you standing on a scale in lightweight clothing (no shoes, hats, belts, watches, coats, or outerwear), and another of the scale’s readout with your weigh-in word written on a piece of paper.

What you'll need

  • A scale (preferably digital)
  • A digital camera or smartphone
  • A full-length mirror or someone to take your photo

  • Today was a good day. Not all days are amazing in the weight loss journey so I want to shout out a few things for myself to keep me going. Because some days the scale is cruel, the body is bloated and the energy to not eat the whole kitchen is real! So here’s my happy:

    1. I just tried on Halloween jammies that I almost got rid of. The waist was cutting into my muffin top, the thighs were way too tight. Just done fitting on my body and today? They slipped on!! AND fit comfortably well!!!!!

    2. My cravings for dessert were out of control. I’m in perimenopause and some evenings were a hot mess of grabbing way too many cookies and candy and just having this defeated, well, this is how it is now, mentality. Today? I realized my dessert intake is now almost non existent. I’ve cut them almost completely out and if I have something? It’s a bite. I’m saying no to desserts AND not missing them 90% of the time.

    3. The scale misbehaves more often than it behaves but right now? I’m less than a pound from my goal weight!!!!!!!!!!

The start of the weight loss journey is ROUGH. It’s miserable to be overweight and having cravings and having to fight for change to happen. Today? Today was a good day of looking back and seeing how progress is slowly starting to build some momentum. Here’s to not quitting on health?

Love this, Jessica! Non-scale victories (like Halloween jammies!) can be so motivating! I can definitely relate to having a sweet tooth at night. I find that the less sugar I have, the less I crave it. But it's definitely rough in the beginning!

Cute jammies too!
