I’m slightly obsessive and usually weigh every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I left Sunday on a cruise. I get home next Sunday. I’m trying not to freak out that not only do I not control my food (I do control my choices) I also don’t have a scale. I did think about bringing one but I figured I wouldn’t have good readings on a ship out to sea. I’m fantasizing that when I get home, I not only didn’t gain but I lost 3 pounds and went to the next decade. I know I’m dreaming. I know when I get home I’ll have a harsh wake up. But I’m walking several miles a day, I’m not finishing my meals, I’m drinking my water. Maybe I’ll get lucky. (But I did have a soft serve small ice cream cone at lunch after I had my slice of pork roast, salad and half a chicken breast.

One can only hope. I’m hopeful that since I’m not flying (port is an hour from my house for this cruise - Baltimore) that I won’t have crazy water weight. I guess I’ll find out Monday morning where things stand. We are on our way to half moon cay and a day at the beach now. Im ready to start heading home tomorrow. I miss my routine and my family. This was a girls trip.

That sounds so fun! I went on a week vacation last month and was so worried. We were very active walking and snorkeling every day, and I did my best food wise (for the most part). I maintained, which I considered a win! You've got this and if the scale doesn't say what you hope, it's all about what you do next.
