I’m so close, but so far from hitting my goal. These last three pounds are hanging on for dear life. Win or lose the bet, I know I made great progress: I made it through two trips without gaining any weight, I’ve been exercising for at least 30 minutes almost every day, and my clothes are definitely getting looser! I turned 60 last month & I’m determined to make this decade better than the last one!

Can someone help me with the weigh-ins? I never get access to the official weigh-in request until the afternoon, which means my weight is always a few pounds heavier than when I weigh myself in the morning. This is significantly changing how far I've progressed. Does anyone know how to get access earlier in the day on Wed?

No, for the weekly weigh in where you're put in for the prize.

Hi Emily! If you have a DietBet membership, you can submit 1 progress weigh-in each week. This can be submitted any time between Thursday-Wednesday (our system runs on Pacific Time). If you have already submitted an official weigh-in for a game, that would count as your progress weigh-in for the week. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at support@waybetter.com!

Morning rant. I have done a few of these challenges...i see SOME people commenting on things they are doing to lose weight, struggles,ups/downs, etc. I joined this app for the support and comradery. BUT with 329 people in a group I mainly see " The pot is now $xx,xxx "....i know we wanna win the challenge but at this point do we really care every hour how much the pot goes up to?? What are you eating for dinner?! Just venting. Good luck guys!

I am finding that if I have seafood (salmon is my favorite) or tuna for lunch with salad and cottage cheese, it fills me up and I manage to get though the hunger pains. Anyone else have foods that fill them up? I could use more meal ideas.

How does the pot KEEP going up and people keep joining though at this point? Its January 23rd

It's been quite a while since my last diet bet. The past year and a half has been some of the most stressful months in my life. My unhealthful eating and alcohol consumption has equated to 23 pounds regained after working so hard to reach my goal weight.

I am still trying to figure out how to maintain my weight loss once I reach my ideal weight.

I've yo yoed for more than 30 years.

I have a vacation planned for early June. Having a goal or event tends to help me stay on track.

I think a lot of us can relate, Rachel. Be kind to yourself. It's okay to start again. And a vacation is such a great motivator/reward!! You've got this!

Thanks for the encouragement!
