Participated in my first race today at age 45. I ran a 4th of July 5k with my 14 year old daughter. I had such a fun time! I will definitely do more races in the future.

The most encouraging thing is that my kids love helping put a veggie together then making themselves a daily salad and they’re excited about it! It’s amazing how much more veggies they eat when I’m making this extra effort.

  • Officially made it halfway through 25MST.. this is my fourth attempt at this program over the past year and I never made it past the third week. Dietbet gives me the extra incentive and push I need when I’m lacking motivation to reach my goals! I’m excited I’ve made it through the first 4 weeks (though it did take me 5 weeks to get here) lol

I enjoy Joel as a trainer, too! Also, 25 mins feels so much more doable than longer sessions! Especially as a momma of 3 littles! lol I saw the 10mins about a week ago! I think once I’m through this round, I’ll have a second go and tack on a 10, each day! And love the idea of when I’m really short on time just flipping on a 10 min would be better than completely skipping a day. Which normally happens 1-2x a week with me :see_no_evil:
