I used this app about 8 years ago to lose weight after child birth. I kept it off for a long time, but about 3 years ago I started working night shift and its wreaked havoc on my body. I have gained 70 pounds in the last 2.5 years. I continue to gain. I have never been as big as I am not being pregnant before. I joined to try to gain the motivation that has been so hard for me to capture again.

I’m with you! I switched to night shift two years ago and have gained 80 pounds. Before that I worked a job where I was on my feet for eight to ten hours a day. Now I’m working overnights at a job where I’m tied to a desk. I weigh more now than I have for years!

Hi Everyone. I did a 21 day fasting in January with my church. I lost 20lbs. Now I am trying to continue the weightloss journey, using a combination of fasting, and eating mostly protein and vegetables, with an occasional decadent meal of my choice. I have 120 lbs to lose, so I plan on being in dietbets every month.

good luck. i find i am more successful if i make small nutritional changes a little at a time, rather than deprive myself too much or drastically try something that is unsustainable.

because 18 isn't 25% of 94, (the number that paid in). After DietBet's fees, there is not overage to disburse.
at least 23 or 24 players would have to be unsuccessful in this game.

if fewer than 25% of players "lose" the game then there is not enough overage for the rest to have a gain in their bet.
