  • Taking advantage of an unexpected day off work. School was called off because of icy backroad conditions. Got 2 Peloton rides in this morning. A 30 minute low impact ride and a 15 minute climb ride. Thankful for the day off. My triplets turn 17 tomorrow so I have to finish their birthday desserts. Now I have extra time to get that done without stressing.

  • Went to the gym early this morning. Got a strength training session in. Came home and made a nice breakfast just in time to sit down and watch the US Men’s hockey team go for Gold. Trying to find things that are quick for the morning but have a good protein content. The egg whites were really good. I added 1/2 plain protein bagel and an apple.

  • Got my long run in this morning. I was supposed to do 4.5 miles. My watch suggested doing 56 minutes at 10:55/mile pace. It would only be about 1/2 mile more than what I was planning, so I gave it a try. The time went pretty quickly. Now to go grocery shopping.

  • Had to run some errands after work. After the errands, I had a chiropractor appt. After my appt I went to the gym to get full body weight training session in. Just as I was finishing up, my son came in to get his workout done. It’s nice that I left the gym at 5:45pm and there was still a good amount of daylight left.

  • Had the day off work today. After taking my daughter’s bunny to the vet, I got a 30 minute Progressive Push Peloton ride in. The last 5 minute push was tough. Now to enjoy the rest of the day.
