Anyone else been in a weird funk this month? Or just me? Nothing is going bad but also no awesome just somewhere in between and I’ve been in a consistent funk most of this month. Very unlike me and ready to pull out of it.

Ugh! Funks are the worst. It's hard to pull out of them sometimes. When I feel like this, I try and get a really good sweaty workout done. It helps reset my brain a bit.

I am in a funk too! Finally the weather broke here so that has helped. We had about 3-4 weeks of just bitter cold, WELL below zero, windchills as low as -50° F and actual temps almost -40° F. It was so miserable and depressing! Today it’s going to be 39° and sunny and it feels WONDERFUL! The whole two week forecast is pleasant and I’m so happy about it! Hopefully this will launch me right outta my funk now that I can do stuff outside! The sun feels so good and it’s lovely to not have to wear so much heavy clothing. Come on spring!

I’m hearing ya! January I was super committed, ate well, moved more and just generally was in a good mindset. This month….hardly been to the gym, pretty much only going once a week for my personal training session, hardly walking with the dog, diet has been not great. And I got new scales and realised how bad the old ones were for lying to me haha . But back on track hopefully for March….need to set some new goals, make sure I’m prepared with lunch’s and stuff so I don’t have to stress about things. Good luck for a new month :)

I didn’t pop on this weekend as I was trying to be more present with my little family. Saturday we went to an indoor fun place. They had bowling, putt putt, go carts, arcade games, small roller coasters and a toddler play area (which is where we spent most of our time!) it was fun! Toddlers are so funny. My son wanted to ride the go carts, he was an inch too short but we were going to trying anyways. We waited 45 mins in the line. Got to the very front and we’re going to have to wait for one more round and my son decided he didn’t want to to ride them anymore 😂 got to love kids but I realized as he was getting grumpy it was because he was hungry so we went and got him a soft pretzel (which I had two bites of and it was bomb) and a water and he was ready to rock. Said he wanted to ride the go carts again but we were like ahhh I don’t think so. Then we ate at Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I was very good. I got a sweet potato, side salad and a steak. No bread, which is the hardest part! I have to say I’ve definitely been in a funk this month which I don’t love. And weekends have tended not to be my favorite as I’m out of routine. Needing to find a good weekend routine for sure! Hope all my fav ladies have been doing well!!

  • Got outside to enjoy the nice weather and it ended up in a 5 mile walk! Just a little reminder that not all movement has to be considered a grueling workout to have impact. 💪????????????

How is everyone hanging in so far this week? Almost the weekend! Yay!! Ready to have a more relaxing weekend than last. I hope everyone is meeting their goal and killing it! February is coming to end quick and I’m not totally mad about it! 😆 tonight I made a bagged stir fry I found at Walmart in the produce section. It was really good! I’ll try to remember to take a pic of the bag and post tomorrow if anyone is looking for a simple meal! It was yummy, colorful and fresh! Also took only 10 mins which I like!

I’m excited for the meals I have planned over the weekend and next week!
• Million dollar spaghetti squash
• taco stuffed sweet potato
• homemade sloppy joe stuffed sweet potato

All new meals for me so I’m hoping they’re keepers!

It’s been a good week for me calorie wise but not so much exercise wise and I’ve got a dinner party tonight so the scale might not be the best tomorrow. I’m going to be mindful tonight but still enjoy myself and get back on track tomorrow with my food and exercise.

Planning on making my turkey meatballs this weekend with a bit of protein barilla spaghetti and some sort of fish dinner or something probably on Sunday.

Let us know how your meals turn out! They all sound wonderful.

Happy Wednesday Friends! Hope everyone had a great day! I will say I’m feeling a little annoyed. I started a new program last Monday that includes counting macros based off my goals and working out 3-4 times a week. In the last week I’ve gain 5 pounds. I know it’s in part to changing up my routine and eating more than I usually do per my macros. I’m usually an evening eater (a snack or two and dinner - usually low carb) and with macros I’m eating more carbs. I KNOW my body is adjusting but when I have to step on a scale for my dietbets it feels defeating. Most days I try to be more optimistic but every now and then I get it a rut and I just need to get out of it.

Proof that even if appears we have it all together, we don’t. Going to stay consistent and whatever happens will happen, right?

Alright, enough of that! Let’s have an awesome day and hit our daily goals!

  • Well girly pops, I didn’t not do so hot yesterday. I stress ate some frozen waffles while on my bread baking spree. And really just stress ate in general. Nothing horrible besides the waffles but I’m feeling it today. I’m SO bloated. Just trying to remind myself that it’s okay, it happens to all of us and that’s why we are here, the pounds I probably gained will come off as quickly as they came on and just jump back on the horse and keep going. Also, sometimes you just need that binge to get it out of your system. Sorry for not popping on yesterday! I ended up making a total of 24 bread bowls. About 8 were rejects. Everything I did Saturday basically over proofed and were not up my standards. I might have also caught a piece of parchment paper on fire 😂 whoops. All is well though. Glad to be back to normal programming! - Just confirmed with my MIL that she can take my son for a little bit after I get off work so I can get my workout in. I already know it’s going to kick my ass. Which I need after the last couple days. OOOOKAY Let’s go new week!

Those look fantastic! Great job! I can’t imagine how much work went into those. I’m sure you were glad to have them out of the way.
You’ve got this! It’s a new week and a new day. The only way we can fail is if we give up! I’ve been struggling a bit recently as I’ve been sick with a bad cold for a week or so and just have had no energy to be active and have definitely bed rotted a bit but I forced myself to get a workout in yesterday that I was proud of and am feeling so much better this morning thankfully so I’m going to kick myself back into gear and get back on track! We can do this!
